J&H Family Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and financial goals while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include supervising staff in the manager's absence, recruiting and developing employees, and maintaining a high-energy, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail and restaurant.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Ability, willingness, and comfort to engage with customers.
• Ability to develop positive relationships with internal and external customers.
• Strong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
• High-energy, collaborative management experience.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Attend the Modern Management course.
• CPR certified.

Responsabilités

• Maintain exemplary customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
• Assist Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store goals and objectives.
• Assist in recruiting, developing, and motivating store employees to exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Foster a strong customer service/selling culture to maximize sales.
• Supervise CSR activities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist in ordering, deposits, and daily paperwork; complete store paperwork weekly.
• Complete all store orders monthly.
• Market within the community to increase market share and revenues.
• Resolve customer complaints to improve satisfaction.
• Assist in labor hours control, cash handling, store audits, and shrinkage.
• Maintain a neat and clean store environment.
• Attend monthly financial meetings with manager and district manager.
• In the absence of a store manager, perform all store duties.
