J&H Family Stores in Mishawaka, IN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will support the Store Manager in achieving sales, labor, and financial goals while directing staff in their absence.

The role requires at least one year of management experience in retail or related fields, strong communication and leadership abilities, and a commitment to store standards and customer satisfaction.

Competenze

• Minimum of one year management experience in retail, hospitality, financial services, or restaurant.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to engage with customers and develop positive relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to work 40–50 hours per week.
• CPR certification.

• Provide leadership to maintain outstanding customer service and help meet store goals.
• Assist Store Manager with daily operations and staff scheduling.
• Recruit, develop, and motivate store employees to exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Establish a strong customer service culture to maximize sales.
• Oversee store orders, banking, and weekly/monthly paperwork.
