Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales, lead a team, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. This role reports toStore Manager and requires coordinating training, scheduling, and store operations to meet business goals.

The Assistant Store Manager will oversee day-to-day store performance, mentor staff, and uphold Lids brand standards while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive sales results while minimizing loss.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and clear verbal communication.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, and other duties when the Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through the LIDS Training Programs, goal setting, and follow-up.
• Recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, inventory protection, and cash handling procedures.
• Lead selling strategy to achieve KPIs, provide exceptional customer service, and educate customers on Lids memberships.
