Crosby’s is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations in Town of Alfred, NY. You will support the Team Leader in delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and driving store performance.

You’ll supervise team members, assist with scheduling, training, and payroll tasks, while ensuring compliance with safety and company policies. This role offers growth within a local brand that supports its community.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work at least 40 hours/week, including weekends.
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Serve Safe certified, preferred.
• Proficient in basic math for cash handling and reporting.
• Ability to understand operating instructions for lottery and POS systems.
• Tolerance of exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to every customer.
• Prepare fresh food and made-to-order items following quality standards.
• Promote and assist customers with enrollment in rewards program.
• Drive sales through suggestive selling and add-on recommendations.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and brand standards.
• Support merchandising, promotions, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, tobacco, alcohol, and company regulations.
• Train, coach, and support store associates; assist with scheduling.
• Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping; report discrepancies.
• Maintain safe store environment and follow opening/closing procedures.
