Job summary

Crosby’s Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in New York to help lead daily store operations and support the Team Leader in delivering outstanding customer service. You’ll supervise team members, maintain high standards, and drive store success while ensuring a welcoming environment.

In this role you’ll handle staffing, training, cash handling, inventory, and compliance with safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age and high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work at least 40 hours per week, including weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Serve Safe certified preferred; basic math for cash handling.
• Ability to operate POS systems and lottery equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to every customer.
• Assist with overseeing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Train, coach, and support store associates; assist with scheduling.
• Support cash handling, audits, and daily bank deposits; review timekeeping.
• Maintain store cleanliness, brand standards, and safety compliance.
