Crosby’s Stores in New York is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily operations, supervise team members, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

You’ll support the Team Leader, oversee store standards, drive sales, handle daily tasks, and contribute to safety, inventory, scheduling, and payroll processes. This role requires reliability, leadership, and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to work at least 40 hours/week, including weekends and 3 evenings per week.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Serve Safe certified, preferred.
• Proficient in basic math for cash handling and reports.
• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to every customer.
• Prepare fresh food and made-to-order items following Crosby’s standards.
• Promote and assist customers with enrolling in My Crosby’s Rewards.
• Drive sales through suggestive selling and add-on recommendations.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and brand standards.
• Train, coach, and support store associates; assist with scheduling.
• Assist with inventory control, audits, and reporting; payroll processing support.
• Follow safety, food, tobacco, and company regulations; ensure security and asset protection.
