Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping including payroll, scheduling and cash deposits.
• Ensure store areas are well-stocked, clean, and secure assets including cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies; supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment; maintain professional customer interactions.
