Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Georgia LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help lead daily activities and ensure a safe, welcoming shopping experience.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to train and supervise Store Associates while upholding company policies and standards. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform required physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and activities.
• Help customers with questions in a positive, approachable manner.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Support in payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Supervise and train Store Associates; support Store Manager.
