Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations under the guidance of the General Manager. This role includes supervising non-exempt staff, managing cash handling, and ensuring inventory accuracy, while upholding company policies and standards.

The ASM will also coordinate with management on banking, invoicing, payroll, and general administrative duties, contributing to a safe, clean, and welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours (days, nights, weekends and holidays).
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations and supervise hourly staff.
• Oversee cash handling, inventory, and banking procedures.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and security per policy.
• Support promotions and guest service initiatives.
• Complete daily accounting paperwork and reporting.
