Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to support the general manager in daily store operations. The role focuses on supervision, cash handling, inventory control, and administrative duties while upholding company policies.

Strong communication and reliability are required for success in a dynamic retail environment. The ASM will help ensure excellent guest service, safety, and adherence to brand standards, with opportunities for professional growth in a Fortune 500

Qualifications

1-2 years supervisory experience.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
Ability to perform basic computer functions.
Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
Ability to work in intermittent temperatures outside, cooler, etc.

Responsibilities

Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees, upholding standards.
Monitor shift cash handling and inventory; assist investigations of shortages/overages and inventory variances.
Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets as prescribed.
Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties as requested.
Manage cash handling procedures including deposits and change orders.
Maintain store appearance and safety standards according to guidelines.
Engage in company promotional initiatives and guest service.
