Job summary

Global Partners LP seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the general manager in daily store operations, uphold cash control policies, and supervise hourly staff. The role requires strong cash handling, inventory oversight, and adherence to safety standards.

In addition to supervisory duties, the ASM will engage in banking tasks, invoicing, payroll, and promotional initiatives, while maintaining clean, organized store environments and delivering excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate, count, read and write accurately.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Able to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt (hourly) employees, holding them accountable for upholding operational standards.
• Monitors shift cash handling and inventory.
• Assists in investigations of shortages/overages of $100 per month or less as well as inventory variations of .5% of sales or less.
• Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards and store image standards.
• Promote a high level of guest service and ensure store is secure and safe.
