Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the general manager with day-to-day store operations, uphold cash controls, inventory accuracy, and customer service standards in a fast-paced environment.

The ASM will supervise hourly staff, conduct trainings, ensure safety and cleanliness, manage banking and paperwork, and participate in promotions, with availability for variable hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees, holding them accountable for upholding operational standards.
• Monitors shift cash handling and inventory; assist investigations of shortages/overages and inventory variances.
• Maintains business records, review cashier accountability sheets and records prescribed by management.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties per cash control policies.
• Manage cash management procedures including bank deposits and change orders.
• Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards and store image standards.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure store safety and compliance with guidelines; report issues to management.
• Coordinate gasoline deliveries and ensure adequate fuel levels.
• Engage in company promotional initiatives and guest service.
• Perform duties as required by company policies and other duties assigned by General Manager/ Territory Manager.
