Job summary

Global Partners LP is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support the General Manager in daily store operations. The role emphasizes people-focused leadership, cash handling, inventory control, and adherence to company policies and safety standards.

The ASM will help maintain store image, supervise hourly staff, and drive guest service excellence. The position requires flexibility across shifts; prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees, ensuring operational standards.
• Monitor cash handling and inventory, assist in investigations of shortages/overages and inventory variance.
• Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets as prescribed by leadership.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll and other admin duties while adhering to cash control policies.
• Manage cash deposits and change orders.
• Maintain store image standards and cleanliness.
