Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the general manager with day-to-day operations, ensuring policies and procedures are followed. The ASM will help supervise staff, manage cash, inventory, and administrative tasks, and uphold store standards.

This role emphasizes guest service, safety, and teamwork, with opportunities for growth through development programs and benefits like healthcare, a 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and coordinating staff.
• Ability to operate standard business software.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline hourly employees.
• Monitor shift cash handling and inventory; investigate shortages/overages.
• Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other admin duties as requested.
• Manage cash handling procedures including deposits and change orders.
• Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards and store image.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation; ensure safety and security.
• Coordinate gasoline levels and deliveries; engage in promotions and guest service.
• Perform duties per company policies and procedures.
