Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the General Manager with daily store operations. The ASM will help supervise staff, maintain cash handling and inventory, and ensure safety and store standards across shifts.

Responsibilities include banking, payroll tasks, and participation in promotions, while delivering strong guest service and adherence to company policies. Availability for varied hours is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to communicate, count, read and write accurately.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outside, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees, upholding standards.
• Monitor shift cash handling and inventory.
• Assist investigations of shortages/overages and minor inventory variances.
• Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll and related duties per cash-control policies.
• Manage cash deposits and change orders.
• Maintain store image standards for Grand Opening readiness.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and secure store operations.
• Engage in company promotional initiatives and guest service.
