Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager and District Manager to drive sales, service and operations on the floor.

You will coach partners, manage schedules, maintain merchandising standards, lead events, and ensure compliance with policies while delivering a high level of customer experience and community commitment.

Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills are essential, as are flexibility with shifts and travel to support local stores.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Review goals with partners, providing coaching, feedback, and recognition; lead on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Implement and maintain continuous learning and partner training plans to improve store performance.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to adapt to changing business needs, adjust schedules, and communicate with District/Region partners.
• Assess and communicate localized customer needs to Store Manager.
• Plan and execute community-focused volume-driving events.
• Lead and coach associates in building customer engagement through loyalty programs.
