Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in driving sales, customer service, and community engagement. You will coach associates, manage schedules, and support hiring while maintaining merchandising standards.

The role requires strong leadership, flexibility with shifts including nights/weekends, and up to 15% travel to assist local stores. You will contribute to a service-driven culture and store performance.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Review goals with partners, providing coaching, feedback, and recognition of excellence; lead on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to adapt to changing business needs; adjust store schedule and support interviewing and hiring.
• Plan and execute volume-driving events involving the local community and market.
• Lead and coach associates in building customer engagement through loyalty programs and achieve goals.
• Ensure merchandise stock levels and presentations meet customer needs and company guidelines.
