Job summary

Boot Barn in California is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager and lead partners in delivering exceptional customer service, merchandising standards and sales growth while upholding Boot Barn’s values.

You will coach and develop team members, manage schedules, assist with hiring, train staff on new policies, and drive store performance through events, loyalty programs and strong operational execution.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of retail store management experience.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays; up to 15% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service and selling culture and exceed customer expectations.
• Review goals with partners and provide coaching, actionable feedback, and recognition of excellence.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to adapt to changing business needs and schedules.
• Plan and execute volume-driving events with local community outreach.
• Coach associates in customer engagement and loyalty programs.
• Ensure stock levels, signage and visual presentation meet customer needs.
