Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Nashville, TN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store operations, drive sales, and lead a team of department managers and receivers in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

You will ensure compliance with safety, labeling, health and sanitation standards, manage inventory and labor, and mentor a team to deliver exceptional customer service and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience; strong leadership and team development capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, bookkeeping/accounting, time and attendance, and HR software.

Responsibilities

• Positively shape the store culture by modeling Sprouts values.
• Develop the store leadership team to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Lead a team of approximately ten people including Department Managers and Receivers.
• Motivate and develop management through Sprouts leadership behaviors.
• Oversee store operations and ensure compliance with safety and health standards.
• Drive sales growth, manage inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance for effective communication within teams.
• Address emergencies and resolve issues with urgency.
