Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store operations, drive sales, and inspire a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee perishable and non-perishable departments, ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance, and mentor department managers and receivers.

You will manage inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience or equivalent.
• Proven success leading non-perishable and perishable department operations including profit and loss, safety, staffing, and merchandising.
• Professional communication skills, written and verbal; detail-oriented and solution-focused.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, bookkeeping/accounting, time and attendance, and HR software.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Safety certification.
• Able to lift 60 pounds and push/pull heavy loads.
• Stand and walk long distances; safety PPE compliance.

Responsabilités

• Lead a store team of approximately ten people across departments.
• Direct all business processes to drive sales and efficiency.
• Maintain safety, labeling, health, and weights & measures standards.
• Manage inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets.
• Oversee all store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Drive customer service and store experience through leadership and training.
• Communicate expectations and changes; provide feedback and coaching.
