Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct store operations, drive sales, and lead a team of department managers and receivers in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

You will oversee inventory, labor, and expenses while ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards, training staff, and delivering superior customer service to our shoppers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience leading perishable and non-perishable departments with P&L, safety, staffing, and merchandising responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills and detail-oriented problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Direct all store operations and drive sales to meet targets.
• Lead a team of about ten department managers and receivers.
• Develop leadership and train store staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain inventory, labor, and expenses aligned with sales goals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, labeling, and sanitation standards.
• Oversee pricing, promotions, and store displays to maximize results.
