Job summary

TitleMax in Augusta, GA is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and develop leadership skills while supporting customers through financial services. You will drive account management, customer outreach, and risk management in a performance-driven, people-first environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year’s experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
• At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday.
• Background check required as per applicable law.
• Able to meet physical demands including standing and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit needs.
• Assess risk of financial transactions and process loan/pawn applications and related transactions.
• Complete daily call campaigns to market services and build business.
• Oversee account management and recovery processes, including collections.
• Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy.
• Provide coaching to Customer Service Representatives to ensure quality standards.
• Perform duties outside the office when applicable (on-site vehicle appraisals, store errands).
• Meet company performance standards through partnerships and events.
• Maintain store security protocols and cash handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Conduct store audits and compile financial data to support compliance.
• Maintain store appearance and address facility needs.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Carry out additional tasks as directed by leadership.
• Maintain a full-time in-person schedule including weekends (min 40 hours/week).
