Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Defiance, OH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. You will lead the store team during the manager’s absence and/or opposing shifts, guiding how we serve customers.

This role encourages bilingual applicants; compensation includes a pay range of $11.00 - $17.00 per hour with additional premiums in specific circumstances.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak hours.
• Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, coaching and mentoring, and ensuring training up-to-date.
• Assist in the hiring process by interviewing and selecting qualified candidates.
• Ensure all buy online/ship to store and transfers are processed promptly and tracked.
