Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role will lead the team in servicing customers and manage the store during the manager's absence.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and oversee service programs.
• Coordinate with store manager to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
• Assist in hiring, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure accurate processing of returns, exchanges, and purchases.
• Verify money handling, bank deposits, and day-end procedures.
• Ensure non-merchandise tasks and communications are correctly executed.
