Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Rancho Cucamonga is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store processes, drive sales, and lead a team across departments. You will motivate staff, ensure safety compliance, and uphold high customer service standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and inventory control with a focus on reducing shrink and improving store metrics. You will report to the Store Manager and play a key part in day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred in business-related field.
• Food Safety certification is required or maintained.

Responsibilities

• Positively shape the culture in the store by modeling leadership behaviors.
• Develop the store leadership team to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Lead a team of approximately ten people including Department Managers and Receivers.
• Motivate and develop the management team and embrace Sprouts leadership behaviors.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, receiving, stocking, and price management.
• Drive sales growth and ensure store experience execution aligned with company standards.
• Communicate policy changes, new initiatives, and product knowledge to teams.
• Provide feedback and direction for effective communication and collaboration.
