Job summary

Discount Tire is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in the United States to lead and mentor a team, ensure safety, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You’ll start with a short huddle, assign bays, and keep operations steady so customers are served quickly and correctly.

You will coach a 4-5 technician team, manage tires and wheels inventory, and maintain an inviting store. This role supports hands-on development and offers growth within a promote-from-within culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive enthusiasm a plus, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 technicians.
• Install, rotate, balance, repair, and clean tires and wheels.
• Organize inventory of tires, wheels, wiper blades, and lug nuts.
• Provide an inviting, safe customer experience.
• Learn by doing with hands-on training and development.
