Discount Tire is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a team, mentor technicians, and ensure safe, timely service for customers. You will drive daily operations, coach staff, and manage tire and wheel inventory while promoting a customer-centric store culture.

This role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The position offers hands-on training, strong promotion paths, and a team-focused environment in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or leadership experience in retail or service team environment.
• Experience coaching or mentoring staff and handling customer escalations.
• Knowledge of inventory control and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set the pace for the store and lead daily huddles to align the team on goals.
• Coach a team of 4-5 technicians and support staff to deliver excellent service.
• Organize and manage inventory of tires, wheels, wiper blades, and lug nuts.
• Delight customers with a welcoming, safe shopping experience and clear options.
• Support promotions and development opportunities to grow the team.
