Job summary

Safelite Group in Baton Rouge is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead front-line associates and deliver world-class service. You’ll oversee daily store operations, including scheduling, inventory, safety, and customer experience.

You will train staff, manage work orders, and ensure timely vehicle dispatch while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. This role emphasizes leadership and customer care in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or 3–5 years of leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience leading teams in retail or service environments is valuable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead activities of associates, ensuring productivity and top customer service.
• Address customer complaints and warranty issues, and process losses/repair damages.
• Manage work orders and routing of mobile jobs; ensure procedures are followed and vehicles are in transit on time.
• Train associates on installation techniques, vehicle/equipment maintenance, and internal tech platforms.
• Monitor productivity, inventory and store cleanliness to meet quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
