StorQuest Self Storage in Tallahassee, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who thrives in a fast paced retail environment. You will be the first‑line representative in the store’s absence, handling daily operations, supporting revenue efforts, delinquency management, occupancy, and customer service.

You will assist with the rental process, including taking payments, selling merchandise, and offering insurance.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1+ years in Customer Service/Sales experience.
• Tech Savvy is a plus
• Experience in Cash Handling required
• Must be available on weekends
• A huge passion for guest service and sales
• The ability to be part of a team to help support and motivate as needed to ensure a collaborative and positive work environment
• The mentality that there are no spare customers, every experience is as valuable as the next
• A positive, outgoing personality
• An insatiable appetite to learn new things
• Strong accountability combined with strong work ethic and enthusiasm for teamwork
• Experience working in the retail or service industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist guests during challenging times and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Be the first-line representative when Store Manager is absent and support daily operations.
• Manage rental processes including converting sales, taking payments, selling merchandise, and offering insurance.
• Assist with truck rentals at locations and participate in collecting past-due accounts.
• Maintain clean, safe facilities and oversee cash handling and deposits.
• Coordinate with vendors for routine maintenance and ensure accurate cash handling.
