Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role will lead the team in servicing customers and manage the store in Manager's absence. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Essential duties include leading customer service, supervising showroom programs, assisting in hiring, processing orders, and ensuring proper cash handling and security during opening/closing.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and ensure program execution.
• Assist in staffing and peak hours coverage for the retail sales counter.
• Support in hiring processes: recruiting tasks, interviews, candidate evaluation.
• Ensure timely processing of buy online/ship to store, hub, and transfer orders.
• Oversee returns, exchanges, refunds, and proper merchandise invoicing.
• Communicate Zipline messages; delegate merchandising tasks.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and secure finances per policy.
• Maintain store building, signage, equipment, and delivery vehicles.
• All other duties as assigned.
