Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, appearance, and operations. This role leads the team in serving customers and managing shifts when the Store Manager is absent.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and execute customer service programs.
• Help ensure adequate staffing during peak hours and coordinate with the Store Manager.
• Assist in hiring processes including interviewing and candidate evaluation.
• Manage phone inquiries per company policy and ensure timely processing of orders and transfers.
• Oversee day-end procedures, deposits, and security checks; perform opening/closing duties.
