Job summary

Carter's is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in the United States to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You will welcome customers, share product knowledge, and help prepare them for milestones from baby essentials to back-to-school moments, while modeling outstanding service on the sales floor.

You will support the Store Manager in recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team, drive KPIs with the team, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and guest service focus.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our great product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store team.
• Plan, track, analyze, and report completion of tasks and financial results utilizing Company tools.
• Partner with Store Manager to plan merchandising standards, promotional planning, markdown execution, and product placement.
• Reduce loss through a consistent level of customer service, education, and operational controls.
