Job summary

Journeys is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to assist Store Manager and Manager In Training with recruiting, hiring, training, and managing store personnel to achieve store and personal sales goals, control expenses, and protect company assets.

You will help meet and exceed sales targets, assist in hiring top talent, train a winning team, and enforce company policies while supervising daily store operations in the managers’ absence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age (state variations may apply).
• Completion of all training programs leading up to Co-Manager position or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and Manager In Training with recruiting, hiring, training, and managing store personnel to achieve store and personal sales goals, control expenses, and to protect company assets.
• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of high caliber employees with in-store needs.
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing all company policies and practices.
• Supervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations in Store Manager and Manager In Training’s absence.
