Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. The role includes assisting with day-to-day store activities, helping customers, organizing merchandise, and supporting store leadership to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates will have high school diploma, retail management experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in retail store management preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize merchandise and manage stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store areas to company standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention.
• Protect and secure store assets.
• Ensure safety procedures and policies.
• Help Store Manager supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
