Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is organized from delivery to floor.

The role involves opening/closing duties, executing corporate directives, and maintaining promotional displays. You will train Store Associates and support a safe, respectful environment while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical activities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor as needed.
• Open and close procedures as required.
