Job summary

Crosby’s Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations, supervise team members, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment while delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll work closely with the Team Leader, oversee cash handling, inventory, and safety procedures, and help drive sales through strong leadership and focus on customer satisfaction every day.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Able to work at least 40 hours/week, including weekends.
• Experience preferred in retail or food service environments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Serve Safe certification preferred.
• Proficient in basic math for cash handling and reports.
• Able to supervise POS and lottery equipment usage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to every customer.
• Assist with daily store operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Train, coach, and support store associates, and help with scheduling.
• Oversee inventory management, merchandising, and promotions.
• Maintain store cleanliness and brand standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, tobacco, alcohol, and company policies.
• Support cash handling, deposits, and payroll-related duties.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
