Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to serve customers, manage daily operations, and ensure regulatory compliance across our Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store brands.

You will educate customers about products, handle cash, perform transactions, and lead a team to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates bring 1+ year of sales/cash handling experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in autonomous work

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio and meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager, DDO, and corporate office as needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries and handle customer applications and questions.
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls per regulations and procedures.
• Respond professionally and ensure customers feel supported and valued.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins, and manage a cash drawer.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications to validate information.
• Process all transactions per company policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
• Comply with federal and state regulations and company policies.
• Complete compliance trainings promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
