Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be a front-line brand ambassador across our Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance or Cash Store family.

You will ensure outstanding customer service and regulatory compliance while leading daily store operations in alignment with company values. The role requires a strong customer service ethic, cash handling experience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
• Must have own transportation with valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance while employed.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio and present options that meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to store manager or district director when unresolved.
• Answer telephone inquiries and assist with general questions or applications.
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls in compliance with regulations.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and resolve concerns.
• Handle currency and cash management duties, including deposits and cash drawer reconciliation.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and assist with discrepancies.
• Complete customer verifications and process transactions per company policy.
