Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store. You will ensure outstanding customer service and regulatory excellence while representing our family of companies in daily operations.

You will educate customers on the product portfolio, handle cash responsibly, perform transactions, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations. Travel within the district and shifts will be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year(s) of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation with valid license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on products and services that meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to store management and corporate as needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries and assist with customer applications or requests.
• Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and collection calls in compliance with regulations.
• Respond professionally, explaining solutions and ensuring customers feel supported.
• Interact with customers, using active listening to confirm information and resolve complaints.
• Handle and count currency, manage cash drawer, deposits, and related cash handling tasks.
• Balance batch receipts with reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications to validate information presented.
• Process transactions including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend per policy.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company procedures.
• Complete compliance trainings timely.
• Other duties as assigned.
