Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to serve as a front-line brand ambassador across Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, and Cash Store. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service and regulatory excellence in a retail financial services setting.

You will educate customers on the product portfolio, process a variety of transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling and recordkeeping while maintaining the company’s values in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year(s) in sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask and work autonomously.
• Must have own reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers by presenting product options that meet needs.
• Escalate issues to store manager, DDO, and corporate office when necessary.
• Answer telephone inquiries and process customer applications or requests.
• Perform outbound sales and cash handling in compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Explain solutions clearly and ensure customers feel supported and valued.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and resolve concerns.
• Handle and count currency, manage cash drawer, and assist with bank deposits as needed.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Verify customer information during verifications and transactions.
• Process all transactions per policy, including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies; complete compliance trainings.
