Job summary

Skims is seeking an Assistant Store Leader – Operations to partner with the Store Leader in maintaining operational excellence, driving results, and delivering exceptional customer service at South Coast Plaza.

You will oversee back-of-house processes, inventory control, floor leadership during peak hours, training on brand standards, and use data to optimize stock and KPI performance. This full-time role offers growth within SKIMS.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a retail leadership or operations-focused role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems, shipment handling, and operational processes in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to coach a team and maintain brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Support daily business operations with a focus on Operational Excellence, ensuring processes and standards are executed efficiently.
• Oversee Back of House operations including shipment, inventory accuracy, and back room organization.
• Manage replenishment, product availability, and flag concerns to leadership for real-time solutions.
• Own damage processing, returns, and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain store supplies, equipment, and report service needs with urgency.
• Train the team on policies, safety, and loss prevention; lead with calm, focused leadership.
• Provide floor leadership during peak hours and model customer-obsessed service.
• Lead team training on product knowledge to support confident customer service.
