Job summary

SKIMS is seeking an Assistant Store Leader – Operations in Chicago to partner with the Store Leader to ensure store operations run smoothly, drive results, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will coach the team, maintain brand standards, and lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with polish.

You will own operational routines, oversee back-of-house functions, and use store data to optimize inventory and KPI performance, while maintaining a customer-centric, brand-aligned store

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a retail leadership or operations-focused role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems, shipment handling, and operational processes in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations with a focus on operational excellence and efficient processes.
• Oversee Back of House operations including shipment, inventory accuracy, and back room organization.
• Manage replenishment, product availability, and flag concerns to leadership for real-time solutions.
• Lead damage processing, returns, and inventory-related duties with an excellence lens.
• Train the team on policies, safety, and loss prevention, even during high-pressure moments.
• Provide floor leadership during peak hours and model customer-obsessed service.
