Job summary

SKIMS is seeking an Assistant Store Leader - Operations in Oak Brook to oversee daily store operations, ensure inventory accuracy, and coach the team on brand standards. You will partner with the Store Leader to drive results, maintain exceptional customer service, and uphold operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead by example, support floor leadership during peak hours, and mentor staff on product knowledge, visual standards, and loss-prevention practices.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in a retail leadership or operations-focused role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems, shipment handling, and operational processes in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Must stand and be physically active for the full shift and lift up to 40 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Support daily business operations with a focus on Operational Excellence; ensure processes and standards are executed efficiently.
• Oversee Back of House operations including shipment flow, inventory accuracy, and back room organization.
• Manage replenishment, size integrity, and product availability; escalate concerns with real-time solutions.
• Lead training on policies, safety, and loss prevention; model customer-obsessed service.
• Utilize store reporting tools to support inventory excellence and KPI achievement.
• Communicate with Store Leader and HQ; provide feedback on allocation and product flow.
• Plan and execute floor sets and store initiatives; adapt to changing priorities.
