Job summary

SKIMS is seeking an Assistant Store Leader to work with the Store Leader to ensure operational soundness, strong business results, and outstanding customer service. You will grow leadership skills and contribute to the store's success in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will partner to run daily operations, coach the team on brand standards, and drive KPI targets. This role emphasizes operational excellence, adaptability, and a hands-on, guest‑facing leadership style.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a retail leadership or operations‑focused role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems, shipment handling, and operational processes in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Ability to provide exceptional service to all customers.
• Ability to resolve issues or complaints in a timely manner.
• Strong communication skills to share expectations and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Support daily business operations with a focus on Operational Excellence.
• Oversee Back of House operations including shipment, inventory accuracy, and back room organization.
• Manage replenishment, size integrity, and product availability; flag concerns and partner on real time solutions.
• Own damage processing, returns, and ensure accuracy in inventory related tasks.
• Train the team on policies, safety, and loss prevention; lead with calm, decisive leadership.
• Lead floor presence during peak hours and model customer-obsessed behaviors.
• Coach the team on fit, function, and product knowledge for excellent service.
• Train on visual standards and product placement to keep an on-brand floor.
• Use store reporting tools to support inventory excellence and KPI goals.
