Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking an Assistant Store Director to support overall store operations and leadership. You will help drive sales, profitability, and employee development while ensuring safe, customer-focused environments. You may act as leader on duty in the Store Director's absence.

You will coach department managers, assist with recruiting, onboarding, and performance management, and promote accountability and teamwork across the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail leadership or grocery management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze business metrics and make operational decisions.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lead multiple departments in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations to meet company standards.
• Monitor merchandising, inventory, and execution of operations programs.
• Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and compliance.
• Lead, coach, and develop department managers and associates.
