Albertsons Companies is seeking an Assistant Store Director to oversee store operations and lead a large team. You will manage daily activities, ensure top customer service, and drive store performance in the absence of the Store Director.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in retail operations, and the ability to coordinate schedules, training, and payroll while maintaining safety standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a department or team within a multi-department operation in retail or service.
• Strong customer service and supervisory skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead store staff.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of store operations during absence of Store Director, including cash, inventory, and security.
• Forecast and track weekly/daily sales, set goals, and drive performance.
• Communicate goals and opportunities to staff to achieve results.
• Plan labor to meet sales and wage budgets; address cost control issues.
• Support development and execution of strategies for product placement and promotions.
• Ensure proper product displays, in-stock conditions, and store cleanliness.
• Oversee cash handling, security, and store safety procedures.
• Coordinate work activities and manage time/resources to meet objectives.
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and wage-hour laws.
