Albertsons Companies is seeking an Assistant Store Director to lead store operations and supervise 100+ employees in a fast-paced environment. You will help the Store Director with scheduling, training, and performance management while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with policies.

The role includes daily supervision, payroll, safety, and coordination across departments to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Formación

• Minimum of one year of assistant manager experience in multi-department operation or two years as a department manager in retail or high-volume service.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Strong customer service and supervisory skills.
• Perishable inventory management experience.
• Solid understanding of overall store operations and leadership abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee operation of retail grocery store during absence of Store Director, including performance and staff management.
• Forecast weekly/daily sales goals and monitor progress toward targets.
• Communicate goals and opportunities with staff to drive results.
• Schedule labor and manage wage budgets; address cost-control issues.
• Train and develop staff; maintain store appearance, promotions, and in-stock conditions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, wage-hour, and security policies.
• Maintain professional relationships with union officials and ensure contract compliance where applicable.
