Take 5 Oil Change in Dallas, TX is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, coach staff, and ensure a safe, efficient, high-quality service environment.

You will serve as Manager on Duty when needed, maintain strong customer engagement, and help drive continuous improvement. Automotive experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed and coordinate workflow.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and assist with inventory counts.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and operational follow-up.
