Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change on Flower Mound, TX is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support daily operations, coach teammates, and serve as Manager on Duty when needed, ensuring safe, efficient service and a positive customer experience.

The position offers paid hands-on training, opportunities for advancement into leadership, and a competitive hourly wage with bonus opportunities. Automotive experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed and coordinate workflow.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and reinforce service standards.
• Train new team members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and inventory tasks.
