Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, lead a fast-paced team, and ensure a high-quality, friendly customer experience. Training is provided to develop the technical skills and service standards needed to succeed in the Take 5 way.

Automotive experience is valued but not required. You will step in as Manager on Duty, help with inventory and reporting, and contribute to a safe, efficient shop environment with opportunities

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work location.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed and coordinate workflow on the shop floor.
• Lead, coach, train new team members and provide real-time feedback.
• Support daily operations, inventory, and reporting while maintaining service standards.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and ensure safety compliance.
• Perform Certified Technician and Lead Technician duties when required.
